Fate was something Charlotte Harrison didn’t believe in. The thought of something or someone else choosing her life was something she just couldn’t get into. It seemed far too fictional; a fabrication weaved by a high power like the Orthodox Church. Despite the fact that the legends of fate traveling far back to Greek mythology and more, she still couldn’t get into it. Maybe she was being biased there, but it seemed as if someone else blamed their bad luck or fortune on some outer world power was hovering close to the deep in.
